O Lord, my God! I have come to you
Rescue me and save me from who peruse me.
You don’t abandon anyone who comes to you
Carry me off where no one can touch me.
Justice is what you demand
You’re the judge of all mankind.
My whole being is deeply troubled
Judge in my favour, O Lord!
Wicked man succeeds in everything.
He says to himself “I will never fail;
I will get trouble in nothing”
He is quick to speak and kill.
You know what is right
And you know my heart.
Lord! Give me your light
Be with me in every act and thought.
I wait patiently for your help
You will listen and answer me.
You will pull me out of this dump
You will safeguard from all tee.
I have faith in you
As my parents have faith in you.
You’ve shown yourself to them
But why not to me yet?
No one can take my faith
That has grown in me till this two decade
I’m going to hang on my faith
Until I taste your bread!
